SUMMARY:Truck 1: The Original
DESCRIPTION:1981 Chevy P20 | “The One That Started It All” \nBefore becoming the first King of Creams truck\, this 1981 Chevy P20 spent its former life as a postal delivery truck in West Virginia. It was purchased off eBay\, shipped to Duluth on a flatbed\, and hit its first route on a cold\, blurry day in March of 2008. Originally serving novelty ice cream bars\, it has since evolved to offer pre-packaged novelties\, hand-scooped hard ice cream\, and real fruit snow cones made with all-natural colors and dyes.\nCurrently dedicated to traditional neighborhood routes\, this truck remains a fan favorite and is capable of serving several hundred people a day.

SUMMARY:Truck 4: The Flagship Beast
DESCRIPTION:2024 Rock Solid Cargo | The Largest Unit in the Fleet \nThis is the first truck in the King of Creams fleet not built out by Courtland himself — but it’s still very much his vision. After months of careful planning and design\, the custom trailer went into production in Douglas\, Georgia and was picked up in March 2024. It’s the largest unit in the fleet\, with expanded storage\, dual propane systems\, and ample cooking space to handle serious volume. This truck also marks a branding milestone: Courtland and his wife fully reimagined the iconic cow logo into a full-blown character\, then brought that evolution to life with a bold new wrap. The design debuted on this truck and Truck 2 — and will eventually carry over to Truck 3. Built to serve the masses\, this trailer anchors the next generation of King of Creams.

SUMMARY:Truck 3: The Expansion Rig
DESCRIPTION:2000 Ford E-Series | Converted Utilimaster Chassis \nOriginally used as a contractor’s tool truck\, this 2000 Ford Econovan was purchased as a blank slate in 2014. Fully built and converted by Courtland Powe\, its original role was to expand neighborhood routes and eventually replace or back up Truck 1 as an ice cream unit. But after a few of the Powe kids expressed interest in staying in the business\, plans changed. The truck was upgraded with full cooking equipment and a grease ventilation system — transforming it into a true full-service food truck capable of handling burgers\, donuts\, lemonade\, and more. Today\, it stands as a symbol of the company’s growth\, flexibility\, and next-generation ownership potential.
